Our Story

Brewed for the Midwest with Rocky Mountain Love

Ted Romanetz, from the Michiana area, met his wife, Kortney, close to her hometown at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. With Ted’s familiarity of pumps & valves, his brewing experience, Kortney’s background in finance, and their love for brewery culture, Cassopolis Beer Company was born.

The couple relocated to Cassopolis in 2023, close to Ted’s family located on Corey Lake and surrounding areas, with one goal, to achieve exactly that, a happy taproom. That combined with their love for the outdoors and their adoration for their two dogs, Cassopolis Beer Company boasts a large, dog (and kid) friendly outdoor space for all and any to gather and enjoy ones’ own or eachother’s company.
